Despite having suffered from childhood obesity, Chava Serrano developed a great passion for fitness, both theoretically and practically. His skills along with his extensive national and international experience allow him to provide enormous versatility in his consultations and training sessions, providing great technical strength. He has the Certification as a Professional Personal Trainer by the FMFF, a Specialised Certification on Foundation Core Elements; Sport City University, Zumba® Fitness Official Instructor Certification, in addition to various courses and workshops such as “Diets Organization”, University of Greenwich; "Methodology and Planning of Strength Training", American Society of Exercise Physiologists, "Sports Leadership" Secretary of Sport, Argentina, "Flexibility Course – Practical & Theory", Training Group, Cordova, Argentina. He is co-creator of the Ritmeza® Training System designed to fully train fitness instructors, performing the first certification in October, 2009. He has served over 10,000 hours as a personal trainer. He also has several years of experience in the Administration of Gymnasiums, Sports and Recreational Activities. Currently, he is an important part of the Citizen Participation Council for Sport in Puebla; he belongs to the Association of Physical Constructivism and Fitness of the State of Puebla (AFFEP). He also has been a member and speaker of the Vice Presidency of Aerobic Fitness of the State of Puebla.

Each training level and allocated time slot is distinguished by having different values ​​in its training variables and focuses on the different physical capacities of the individual client.

• Introductory Level 30 Minute Class

(Suggested Sessions 2 to 3 times per week)

Emphasis is placed on:

1. Cardiovascular Conditioning (low intensity).

2. Muscular endurance, 3 to 5 exercises, full body.

3. Elasticity with passive exercises (Exercises where the muscles are stretched with minimal effort, using your own weight or with the help of another person).

• Beginner Level 45 Minute Class

(Suggested Sessions 3 to 4 times per week)

Emphasis is placed on:

1. Cardiovascular Conditioning (low to moderate intensity).

2. Muscular endurance 6 to 8 exercises, full body.

3. Elasticity with passive exercises (Exercises where the muscles are stretched with minimal effort, using your own weight or with the help of another person).

• Intermediate Level 60 Minute Class

(Suggested Sessions 4 to 6 times per week)

Emphasis is placed on:

1. Cardiovascular resistance (moderate to high intensity).

2. Choose between Strength, Endurance or Muscle Power.

- Muscular endurance, 8 to 10 exercises, full body or emphasis in some hemisphere on different days (Hemisphere: one of two parts into which the body is divided).

- Muscular Strength, 8 to 10 exercises, the body works by hemispheres in days.

- Muscle power, 6 to 8 exercises. You can train by full body or by hemispheres on different days.

3. Elasticity with passive and dynamic exercises (Exercises in which muscles are stretched using controlled own movements).

• Advanced Level 60 Minute Class

(Suggested Sessions 6 or more times per week)

Emphasis is placed on specific objectives sought by the client:

1. Cardiovascular resistance (moderate to very high intensity).

2. Choose between Strength, Endurance or Muscle Power.

- Muscular endurance, 8 to 10 exercises, full body with or without emphasis on muscle groups; shorter rest times and / or a greater number of series.

- Muscle Strength, 8 to 12 exercises, the body works by muscle groups (several muscle groups can be worked per session).

- Muscle power, 8 to 10 exercises - Can be trained by full body, hemispheres or muscle groups.

3. Elasticity with passive, dynamic exercises and PNF (stretching technique in which muscle contractions and elongations alternate).

Each level of training is booked as a single session, pay-as-you-go system.

Bookings are made easy by simply;

  • Clicking on the “Book Now” button of the consultant of your choice.
  • To create your new “Booking Account”, scroll down the consultant page and click on the “sign in” within the booking platform application. This is separate to your Healthy Options Market account.
  • Please make sure to set your TIME ZONE correctly, as all booking hours are based upon availability in your location.
  • Choose one of the options that your consultant offers.
  • Available dates and timeframes will then appear.
  • Click on the “+” sign of a suitable date.
  • A pop-up box will appear with a suggested time.
  • If this time is not suitable, you can easily change it by clicking directly on the time inside the “when” box and changing it manually to another time of your choice.
  • Once you finish entering your new time, please continue to enter your “Full Name”. This ensures that the system is updated correctly. You will then see the new correct time that your consultation will start and finish.
  • Continue and click “Create Reservation”.
  • The booking system will then bring you to the final section, where you will see your booking details and you can choose your payment options of Paypal or Stripe.
  • After this, you will receive a booking confirmation email from “HOMReservas” titled “New Reservation For....”and the app will redirect you back to your “Agenda” link within your Booking Account.

PLEASE NOTE: Should you need to change your reservation after you have booked, you can simply do so by logging back into your “Booking Account App” and clicking on “Agenda”. Here you will find all your bookings where you can edit the date and time or cancel your booking completely. (Please see our policy for cancelations in F.A.Q). To log back into this account go to “Healthy Options Market Homepage”, click on the consultant of your choice, scroll down to the booking app, click on “Sign-in”, here you will see the link for your “Agenda”.

After your booking has been completed and verified, the consultant of your choice will then contact you via email with a pre-appointment questionnaire (for all first time clients) and to select the method of your virtual consultation through the use of Zoom, Skype etc.
